Joint Board Meeting

A Joint Board meeting for DSPUD and Sierra Lakes County Water District was held on July 10 at 10:00 a.m. at Judah Lodge to vote on the Facilities Plan. The boards voted to adopt the Facilities Plan and to move forward with its recommended actions. Public scoping meetings per CEQA/NEPA requirements may begin in late August. These meetings are held to raise all potential environmental impacts of the proposed wastewater treatment plant improvements and to receive comments from the public. Ratepayers will receive notice of these meetings via US Mail. The meetings will also be announced in local news outlets and on this website.
